Institute of Physics - USP
"USP's Physics Institute is home to the Solid State and Low Temperature
Low Temperatures Laboratory, founded in 1962 and a pioneer in Brazil. It
research is carried out under extreme conditions of low temperatures
(down to 0.01 K) and high magnetic fields (up to 20 T). The heart
of this laboratory is the Cryogenic Plant which produces liquid helium,
the basic input for obtaining low temperatures and keeping cool

Melitta
At Melitta, three Polar chillers support hundreds of tons of roasted, ground, and packaged coffee monthly, with extreme care in preserving their various aromas and flavors.
Copel
In 1993, Metalplan supplied over 600 m³ of compressed air reservoirs for the Segredo and Salto Santiago hydroelectric power plants (COPEL) on the Iguaçu River. 250 tons of ASTM-A-285-C steel were used, distributed in 22 reservoirs of up to 130 m³ each, with 100% radiographed welds.
Denso
The world's largest manufacturer of automotive air conditioning, Japan's Denso, replaced the outsourced nitrogen tank at the Manaus plant with an integrated on-site nitrogen gas generation system from Metalplan, consisting of TotalPack Flex DD screw compressors, Energy Plus refrigeration dryers, Hyperfilter coalescing filters, SVA reservoirs, ModuCarb towers, and NitroMax PSA generators. Denso's total gas production reaches 175 m³/h (5.6 tpd) with a purity of 99.999%, providing significant cost reduction and complete operational autonomy.
Embraer
The manufacture of EMBRAER's E190-E2 jets relies on three dryers
Energy Plus dryers and six Hyperfilter coalescing filters (4000 m³/h each)
in uninterrupted operation for more than fifteen years, guaranteeing the
safety for the aviation industry.
Among the reasons for this high performance is the fact that Metalplan was
was the first filter and dryer manufacturer in Latin America
to certify its quality system according to the ISO-9001 standard.
Agip
The Pre-Salt oil continues to attract the world's most important oil & gas companies.The Italian Agip chose the city of Guarujá (SP) to host a major industrial complex for the construction of submarine pipelines. Metalplan designed and executed the entire compressed air system for this unit, with 1300 hp of TotalPack Flex DD screw compressors and over 2,000 meters of AirLine aluminum piping, 100% aluminum.
Eurofarma
For the total elimination of compressed air moisture, Eurofarma needed to install an adsorption dryer, even aware of its higher energy consumption. After a thorough analysis of the available options, a Hybrid 3000 model was selected, with a dew point of -40ºC and heaterless regeneration.
