Contamination of compressed air comes in many forms, especially water, oil and solid particles, according to the international standard ISO 8573.

Water comes from the humidity present in the ambient air (water vapor), and oil and solid particles come from two sources: atmospheric air and the compressor itself.

Compressed air also contains viruses, bacteria, amoebas and other microorganisms, normally classified as "solid particles", but which deserve special classifications depending on the application.

Hyperfilter filters can be fitted with coalescing, adsorbing and microbiological elements, designed to eliminate each specific form of contamination, providing the highest quality compressed air generated by any type of compressor, in any environment.

Hyperfilter filters use Hi-Flux coalescing, adsorbing and microbiological filter elements, based on hydrophobic, three-dimensional borosilicate nanofibers, which are extremely effective in retaining solid particles (down to 0.01 µm) in depth, through direct interception, and in promoting the phenomena of inertial impact and diffusion, which are essential for the process of agglutination of water and oil aerosols.
