Biomethane is a clean fuel that can be directly incorporated into the existing natural gas infrastructure and replace diesel consumption, ensuring savings and environmental preservation. The gas is obtained from the refinement and processing of biogas, which is generated by the decomposition of organic matter such as agricultural waste, food waste and sewage.

The entire process of capturing, purifying and using biogas for energy receives a sustainability label, either by lowering the carbon footprint, reducing greenhouse gases or reusing solid organic material as fertilizer.

The DA 300 M biomethane compressor offers a flow rate of up to 6000 Nm³/h, power of up to 400 kW, and operates at a pressure of up to 100 bar (optionally up to 300 bar).

To ensure maximum energy efficiency, it has a high-efficiency electric motor, IR3 standard, for classified areas; direct coupling between motor and compressor unit; and frequency inverter/speed variator, for optimized operation. It can be water or air cooled, providing high isothermal efficiency.

The equipment can be lubricated or oil-free. The lubricated version uses synthetic oil, specially formulated for use with biogas/biomethane. The oil filters and separators are of the spin-on type, which makes maintenance easier. The non-lubricated or oil-free cylinders have a "type B" spacer, in accordance with API-618.

The configuration can be 2 or 3 cylinders, with a compact layout and optimized space, as well as innovative pistons and seals in terms of design and materials. Vibration is minimal thanks to a perfectly balanced assembly.

The DA 300 M biomethane compressor can be installed over time, without the need to build a machine room.
