Biomethane is obtained from the refinement and processing of biogas, generated by the decomposition of organic matter such as agricultural waste, food waste and sewage. Natural gas is a cleaner fossil fuel than oil.

The SA 200 M biomethane/GNV compressor compresses these gases to a pressure of up to 300 bar, for supply to industry or storage in cylinders for supply to vehicles and agricultural implements. With a power of up to 55 kW, it offers a flow rate of up to 1000 Nm³/h.

This biomethane/GNV compressor brings together a combination that includes the high-efficiency electric motor, IR3 standard, classified area; direct coupling between the motor and the compressor unit; and optimization through the frequency inverter/speed variator. Cooling can be water or air, providing high isothermal efficiency.

Choose the ideal option for your business: the equipment can be lubricated or oil-free. The lubricated version uses synthetic oil, specially formulated for use with biomethane or CNG/NGV. The oil filters and separators are of the spin-on type, which makes maintenance easier. The oil-free option has non-lubricated, totally oil-free cylinders, with a "type B" spacer, in accordance with API-618.

The Metalplan biomethane/CNG compressor is available in 2- or 3-cylinder configurations, or 4-, 5- and 6-cylinder (TANDEM) configurations for special applications.
